A collection, not a single feature
DC System is the official name for Dalla Corte's control technologies. Grinder control, milk preparation and online monitoring each serve different purposes. Together, they help café teams and multi-site businesses establish a more consistent workflow. Each machine's capabilities must be checked against its version and equipment.
Three complementary roles
GCS connects the machine and grinder, using extraction feedback to adjust grinding. MCS supports milk foam preparation, while OCS makes machine parameters available online for monitoring and management. These systems are distinct. Having one installed does not automatically mean the other two are present.
MCS: controlling milk preparation
MCS stands for Milk Control System. The manufacturer's description explains that the user selects a temperature, places the pitcher on the tray and positions the wand to begin. The wand design helps circulate milk and form microfoam. The dedicated page lists XT, ICON and EVO2, and mentions dual MCS for ICON and EVO2. Wand selection and available features must be checked against the ordered version.
An evolving collection
The current DC System overview also introduces Steam Maestro, focused on steam, air and temperature control with adjustable recipes for dairy and plant-based milk. Its page lists ICON. This website uses the official name DC System; without documentation for the relevant version, DCS is not presented as a synonym or a separate technology.
